ARBs are nice for the fact you have onboard air. Never had an ox locker but never heard anything bad about them.

ARB, most top crawlers run them and there is a long history.  Key is to make sure you have a good installer, someone who has done them before.

Application is important. This a wheeler or work rig? Ox. LOCK,!  If your jumping in and out of axle lockup like for snow and such probably ARB. I had an ARB  and loved it but it was a play toy, and make sure to bring extra air line and a splice kit.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Have an ox in the front, d30 and a arb in the rear d60. Run 35" boggers front and sx swampers on the rear. Run hard on Rimrock trails and week in Moab no problems with either. I ran the arb off a co2 tank, worried about catching the air line  and leaks. Ox has a pretty stout cable and the diff cover is HD. Don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Good info- probably almost like Ford/Chevy/Dodge debate but good to know the pros and cons of each. Another thing im thinking of is the OX actuators are all in the cover, whether its cable, air,or electric(OX can be operated with any of the 3)so  if/when actuator fails you can use a pin they sell for $26 to manually lock or unlock the diff until you get home(pretty sure) .Yeah the cables seem much more stout than flimsy airlines routed to diff - i had to stop and clear snowpack off rear ARB airline this year-

Also - correct if im wrong but, with the OX actuator being in the cover, if it fails then you only need to remove it from the cover for repair, but if the air seals in an ARB fail then the carrier gets removed to replace them(more of a pain for sure)

Firepin thats funny- i have ARB rear now and an OX on order for front (Dana 44’s)
So i guess im gonna find out soon which one i like better

I run ARBs F/R of my TJ . Been in there for 12 years . Have never had a leak or broke an airline . Nice thing about ARBs is onboard air source ( although I use a Powertank for that ) . Vehicle might make the choice for you . The OX covers are huge and DO hit the gastank and the front trackbar in Jeeps.
