That bull is incredible! I have no idea how moose scores rack up but will that test the bull buckjunkie shot?!?!

I’ve seen it referred to as the potential new WA state record. Buckjunkie’s is, I believe, the SCI world record.

You are correct. This bull should out score mine B & C. My bull scored 178 B & C

Boone and Crocket moose scoring is wonky in my opinion and does not really capture what most value in a moose....Just my opinion.  You can have super week fronts / brow palms and long paddles / main palms and score well.  You can also have a brush bull with super wide paddles that turn in that will score worse than a smaller paddled bull that flattens out with greater width. 

I have a Gross 181 2/8th Net 176 7/8th moose.  I would need to see other pics of the moose in question, but I believe it will score better based on the 1 photo.

We now have a bull in our sites (on camera I should say)  just hope he sticks around till friday, he's nothing like the giants we are talking about, but he's a good bull.  Hopefully Flyguide will start his thread with his story and pics.

Hey thanks again everyone for all the enthusiasm, it's a really rare and unique bull. I'll post a really good story and plenty of pics in another thread. You can only post a couple of pics per post, so am trying to set it up for a quality play by play. It was rough scored at 191 gross, 185 net.  Again, this is rough scored green so don't hold me to it haha!

Heading out in the early morning, start hunting w Josh on Friday and the excitement is off the charts.  He’s helping w a terminal tag right now so we are hoping it all works out for them.  The weather is actually a positive for a change, we have a week or so to find a decent bull. Hope to post pics soon.
