2022 spring babies on trail cam
« on: June 21, 2022, 03:21:18 PM »
Share the spring babies you get on trail camera.

Had two sows produce triplets this year....cute little buggers.  Couple more sows we see every year have not yet shown themselves so I'm sure they have some small ones running around.  As of last week the does had not dropped their fawns yet.  I suspect next cam checks will have plenty of spotted deer running around.

The turkey and grouse babies did not do well this spring.  Curious to see if they have a second go at it or if it is what it is.

They sure like the mowed trail!!  It will provide quality forage long after the rest is cover only, thanks

I still have not seen any baby deer on our cams.  I have seen a few elk calves while out hiking and they all look healthy.

We mow paths as well and the animals love them.

No pics but ran into a herd of elk last weekend in bumping. 30-40 cows and small bulls.  Most of the cows had calves.  they all looked very healthy and have a ton of good feed and water. Should be a good year!

I want to see some baby cougars. I know there has to be hundreds of them out there!!

Last year we had a set of twins and a set of triplets on game camera.   Maybe I will find them and sneak them in here.
