I just bought a Black Gold Ascent Verdict from a buddy. My bow is shooting a little bit faster than his and he told me to get new tape for the slider.

Does it matter which brand I get? It looks like there is an assortment of them on amazon.

The BG one's are $20 on Amazon! Dumb for a piece of tape.
