Bethel camera recovery

So last year my brother had drawn the bethel archery tag and put a camera up in May. Well after several attempts to get to the camera this spring we were finally able to get to it to see if it survived the fire. Well would you believe it it actually made it through the fire. Everything burned around it but 20 feet around the tree it was on. It has some amazing pictures of the fire and animals. It was actually still taking pictures when we picked it up yesterday. Will try and get some pictures up of the fire. Really sad to get up there and see how much burned and how bad it burned.

Was up there back in May. That fire was significant but it will benefit the herds this year and in future years. Can’t wait to see the pics.

I assume he turned in his tag last year. I had the same tag, and went up this weekend and got my 3 cameras. All ok and not much burnt around them. (lucky) I did get several good bulls as well as some cougar, bear, coyote, bobcat pics. If someone has this tag for this year drop me a PM and I can send you the camera locations I had on ONX. Buddy and I drew cow tags for Bumping this year.
