Here’s a hot tip - wherever you store your EZ Suck’r make sure it isn’t oriented in a way that it can fill with debris.  I had it in a side pocket of my bino harness, with one of the open ends at the top of the pocket while walking through some alder regrowth on a logging road Tuesday morning.  The leaves were super dry with this brown powder/dust shaking off the bottom of them as I walked through.

Without thinking, I sucked in on the call and choked on all the dust that had accumulated inside it.  My throat was bugging me for hours after that.

After this am, I am fast becoming a fan of this call as a coaxer. Had a good bull come into 20 yards, will post a video later today of him coming in.
For now, here's a pic from before I started filming.

I'm a suck-r and paid the $40 for one.
They are decent once you are in close. That's about all it's good for in my opinion. Had herds within hearing distance four times that I know of. Only once did it bring a satellite closer. Doubt I'll even dust it off next year. Mouth reeds are far superior.

Two different calls if you ask me, the mouth reeds are far superior for sure, BUT, those suckers are very nice when elk are close.  very soft, elky sound comes out of them, I think they are great for the final attempt to lure in a bull or cow.  Either way, my reed is not far from my mouth.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

We did a bunch of testing with the EZSukr this year (we tested a previous version in 2021). It is definitely a close to mid range call but I can get some great volume out of it with the heavier mature cow voice.

Listening to my buddies run it and listening to real cows side by side,  I’m convinced it is the most accurate sounding cow call available. With that said I still find myself running diaphragms the majority of the time but it’s a dang good option for finishing a bull off or adding to herd talk.
