Chased a bull all day and lost him when the herd fed into this cut. Never hunted archery before so figured I’d better take a cow feeding at 60. She only went about 15 yards before tipping over.

I got a nice doe at 35 yards 1 hour into deer season. Then, got this cow at 20 yards, an hour into elk season. I feel truly blessed to have a freezer full of meat. I used a meat pack and game bags I bought off of forum members.  :) It made packing out that elk by myself a much easier ordeal!  But, hunting is already over for the year... too soon, haha.  I'll try mushroom hunting this year, so something to look forward to this fall.

Good luck everybody!

Nice work filling the freezer. Don't forget about bear and cat tags if you got em! You're on a roll, get some predators!

First animal... west of i5 roosie... opening day. Set up/wind/calling was perfect, shot was terrible (got lucky hind quarter artery.. super fortunate), excellent meat care especially with the heat. Adrenaline is still pumping man... proud of myself but still so much to learn and work on. Got it all on camera too! Video is going to be so fun. @Hunt_phd on youtube and instagram

Nice Job!! The only thing better than hauling them out in a Beamer is a Subaru.
Congrats on a dandy bull. Good job on saving the caul fat.
