Teach a man to fish
« on: May 19, 2009, 11:44:50 AM »
I have a friend who is 27 years old and grew up in california and had never fished in his life up until this year, we have had a few unsuccessful trips(I swear hes cursed) but this morning he finally caught his first fish it was a nice rainbow about 14", we ended up catching 7 trout total and I caught 2 squawfish too bad they arent worth any money in the Boise River system anyways heres some pics, first one is him with his first fish ever, second is him fighting his second fish and the third one is me with the stringer of 7 trout(sorry only had the cell phone so theyre kinda crappy pics)

"Teach a man to fish"

Remember that lasts a life time, good job!
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

No No, that is the women's job!  :o

I did not really just say that.
My Mother would not let my Dad and I fillet our salmon. She said we do it to fast and waste meat. She would scrape the skin and batter dip all the little pieces of meat and fry them up as fritters. Obviously my Dad and I would never argue.
Um they were awesome!

My wife is one of the best fish skinners I have ever seen.  I debone them and she skins them.  Very efficient operation.

Glad to see you introduce a another to fishing.  I didn't realize how much I hated almost all other summer sports until I bought a boat.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice
