Pope, Phool and Bone, when I first discovered this site it really opened my eyes to what is available in our state.  Made me reevaluate a lot of my complaining, what tags I put in for, etc...  It was the pictures that really did that.  a lot of people say they see big mulies, but until you see the pics you take what most people say with a grain of salt.  Made me look harder in my own corner of the state too.  More time spent on googleearth etc...
Without getting too sappy, thanx guys.  You changed the way I think and hunt.

...still want to see what ricochet comes up with....

And a buck I followed for a year. Again no good camera that year. Maybe this year I will get some better pictures.

he probably didn't make it much longer after this pic.  He could barely walk.  He was probably pushing 11-12 years old, which is incredible for a deer

This has always been one of my favorite bucks....no he's not nearly the biggest, but one of my faves.

No, it was pouring rain and he wasn't exactly standing in the wide open.

This was probably the biggest on film this year.

No kidding.  I bet I wish I could find his sheds about as much as you and your moose.  FOr whatever reason that deer is almost a torturous nightmare.  What an animal.  I'd have never got him with my bow though.  Not sure I would have cared.

Luv this thread.  I am healing up from hernia surgery, so stuck at home in bed.  I spent almost the entire day going through the Deer Hunting Archives.  Worked my way from page 97 back to page 78.  WHat a great day.

...hmm...wonder if I am going to dream about mule deer tonight...?
