My 16 year old has some days off coming up and I would like to get him out for the late hunt but there are few units to choose from. Curious if anyone would be willing/wanting to point me in a decent direction on where to start in the North River unit for late muzzy elk. I hunted Williams Creek to the south during archery and took him early muzzy but have never stepped foot in the North River. I also do not have any private timberland access passes like Weyco or FIA. He's more than willing to hike a good distance if that's what it will take.
