Alladin Spring Bear
« on: May 25, 2009, 03:15:27 PM »
Here are some pics of my Uncle's Spring Bear from the Alladin unit he got on Monday.  We were lookin for a Color Phase, only seen one little Cinnamon.  This was a pretty nice bear though, not a monster but nice.

That bear looks to have a big head. Tell us the details of the hunt please. How big was his bear? Rufous.

Nice looking boar, love the throat patch.  I'm heading up Tuesday night through the end of the season in Sherman to see if I can punch my tag.

What elevation were you guys seeing the most bear activity if you don't mind?

Thanks,

Wazzu99

Very nice bear, tell us more of the story

We were around 3000 feet, I'm not sure that mattered though the Bears we seen were just cruising around eating on the green grasses.  I'm no expert bear hunter but my only advice would be to look in the grassy areas.

I'm not much of a storyteller we passed on a smaller bear and spotted this one.  He was able to get a 100 yard shot with his 325 WSM and the bear went about 20 yards and died.
