I don't think they can regulate WA residents if you buy them in person as I believe it only applies to internet sales. Same thing with like the ID super tags. If you buy them from a dealer then you're good to go, but not if you buy them online.

So what your saying is the $200 i spent last year on Super Tags thru IDFG website would of been invalid if my # struck gold? If so, what a bunch of B.S.

Thanks for the info on this!
No that's not correct. Your tickets were valid.

If your read the WA law, your comment is not correct. Now would ID come back and say, well our records show your IP address was in WA that the time of purchase?  My guess is probably not as I'm guessing that would limit their online supertag application sales and that revenue stream for ID.

Look at the AZ raffles as they are now trying to get around this by having the purchaser certify that are in AZ at the time of purchase. Last year or the year before, they would not even sell to you if you tried to  buy online apps while putting in a WA address.

Regardless, we can all agree it's a joke and it's a BS law that is only in place because our state government isn't getting a cut of the online raffle sales in other states.  :twocents:
The best friend a guy could have asked for. RIP chasing pheasants in heaven Denali girl.
