I use Go Hunt, for a few bucks more after perpetual discounts you get a ton more than just a map.  If you're using them for out of state apps, it's a no-brainer.

Their mapping data isn't as good, I have found a couple places that are public on OnX and verified with the land manager but show up private on Gohunt.

If you don't care about Gohunt other than for the map, I would probably go OnX.

Draw odds and the filtering 2.0 are a game changer I pulled tri trigger on it I’ll probably keep both and see what I like as the season goes on

Another plus for OnX is that MT wardens were using it last time I talked with one.  If there was any dispute and you and he were using OnX, it's simple to clear up assuming you were in the right according to OnX.  If you're using something else and there is a discrepancy on the boundary it might be a longer discussion.

I know OnX and GoHunt have discrepancies in some of their boundaries when I looked side by side, like 100 yards difference in several places which could be a big deal if you hunt boundaries.

I'm not sure what Wardens use now, but that's the way it was a couple years ago.

I been having map DL issues with onx

Brand new phone iPhone 14

App just downloaded

Try to add a map or two and the ap freezes up, definitely server side

They’re throttling down my offline map downloads

I have found OnX much better for navigation and Go Hunt indispensable for researching Out of State draw areas.

I use OnX and BaseMap. One big plus for OnX is they just added CarPlay, which is huge for me in driving around to various bird hunting properties.

OnX, and if you’re an elite member, you get access to draw odds on TopRut.
