Fishing
« on: March 14, 2023, 06:00:53 PM »
Thursday looks like a go🙏🙏🙏. Give the boat a good shake down. Make sure the new do dads work like they should. The first time they didn’t🤫 Catch some fish. Have some fun. Then get ready for the Springers🤑🤑🤑

Got a friend fishing out of Cathlamet. Sent a video yesterday of a huge herd of sea lions down there. Said there were hundreds of them chasing smelt and Springers. :bash: :bash:

If ya want to see the video PM me your number and I'll text it to ya. You won't believe what you're looking at. I don't know how to post a video on here.

Elk rack I’m with you on that… I’m sure there is an agency at work already. Just not made public.

I thought about asking for the clip, but then realized I don’t really want to see it. I see enough of that already around Westport.
There was an ‘astounding’ number of seal in a group just off the beach last year that my wife and I saw. Doubted what I was seeing at first there were so many.
I wish they would at least let the Tribes take some. Knock the numbers down a bit. Crazy we pay to raise hatchery fish to feed the Seal and Sea Lions.
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

Maybe you could send it to Outdoor GPS. Show them what you’re seeing. Maybe get some publicity and start stirring the pot :twocents:

By the way, I didn’t make it out this morning to Merwin. Cold as ice, but I was willing to sacrifice😂😂😂 everything seem to work OK. I just gotta learn it. Didn’t stay too long the wind was not friendly to say the least.
