Neah Bay fishing trip June 7,8,9,10
« on: May 08, 2023, 08:56:02 PM »
Will be our first trip to Neah Bay this year.  Should have two Halibut days.  Will be in 20’ Glas ply.  Anyone willing to share inshore halibut spots?  Or any tips on gear or anything else welcome.

Thanks!

How experienced are you at halibut fishing? Depending on the tides there's the garbage dump.  You don't want to fish it on major tide swings.  You will lose more gear than it's worth.  Your typical spreader bar and bait or jigs works well.

Due west of Hobuck beach about 3 miles. Shallow and easy drift. You can also anchor up if the surf is low. There are some ledges going west that are slight but hold fish. See ya out there.
