My 85 year old father wanted 1 more Antelope hunt. He had done 2 in his home state of Oregon in the past. His last one was when he was 78. So I have been buying points for the last few years. With 3 pts, my brother and I decided he needed to draw this year. So I put in for this unit as his first choice and he drew it. I have read a lot about this unit and know that this will not be an easy hunt for him. Given more years to apply I certainly would not have applied him for this unit. But we are going to make the best of it and just enjoy as many hunts as we can while he can still get out. I plan to call the biologist and/or game warden and glean what I can from them. If anyone has boots on the ground knowledge or know of any landowners that charge a trespass fee or any other tips. Feel free to comment or pm me.
