It was unclear if they collected hooves in 22 for a 23 tag, but they're collecting hooves again this year. If you have a chance to harvest a limping elk, might be worth it. The tags awarded for 2022 were 19 tags and only 126 eligible submissions for what amounts to a raffle tag in about 10 gmus.
