First Season Hunting
« on: September 05, 2023, 09:58:29 PM »
Hello Fellow Outdoorsman,

I apologize in advance if this is one of those annoying posts that flood the forum every summer. I’m brand new to hunting and have exhausted all other options.

I joined this forum hoping to meet some like minded people that would be open to the idea of letting me tag along on a deer hunt (rifle season). I’m a 32 year old civil engineer living in the Seattle area that did not have the luxury of growing up in a hunting family. Everything I’ve learned is from YouTube and books, where I’ve laid a foundation of knowledge.

I have literally everything required to go on a multi day backpacking hunt in all sorts of conditions, including my deer tag. So I'm ready to go. I just need a helping hand out in the field.

Let me know if you’re down and I’ll bring a *censored* ton of fresh caught smoked salmon from this years sockeye harvest in Alaska.

Ps: I’ll travel anywhere in Washington for this hunt.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure someone will take you up on the offer. Be sure to ask every question you have on your mind. This is the place you will find the answers. Or at the very least a myriad of opinions to help guide you!
