Just want to let folks know about some upcoming events. First, I would like to thank everyone so much for the support and we are very proud to be doing what we're doing. The next commission meeting with public comment will be on September 30th in Yakima at the convention center in room G-2. We highly recommend heading down if you can. On September 29th and 28th the commission retreat is taking place. We highly recommend anyone who can make it goes in-person because the public will not be able to watch this on zoom and they will be discussing a lot of topics. When signing up for public comment on Saturday put in 6. Public input. Be respectful and tell them what hunting means to you. We'll have a guide out on public speaking 101. As many of you may have heard, the October commission meeting is going to be big. Its during prime blacktail and eastside opener for elk. The commission expects hunters to be out and not at the meeting. They are doing a hearing on the Black Bear Cr-102 and voting on the Conservation Policy or preservation policy. If passed this will change hunting in Washington and open the floodgates for even worse decisions to be made. This is a dream for the antis and some commissioners. This is going to be very important.

We need people in Olympia on both days. The CR-102 and the Conservation Policy vote will be on October 27th. The meeting will be at the Natural Resource building. We need to pack the room, building and even parking lot with hunters. Show up in hunter orange or your favorite hunting brands to show what side your on. We need to show that hunters are united and we are going to get involved. We're gonna keep showing up and making our voice heard. We will let you know when you can start signing up to speak but sign-ups typically open a week or two before the meeting. We need people to speak on Saturday the 28th as well to rebuttal anything that happens or is said on Thursday and Friday. If you don't want to speak that's okay. Your presence in-person is already going to be very powerful. You'll want to be down by 8am. The room will fill up and public comment typically starts around 8:30 to 9:00.

We also have a major announcement. After the commission meeting on the 27th, we will be hosting a pint night at Dick's Brewing Co in Centralia in the evening. We will head over after the meeting. This will be a get-together event from sportsmen and we will discuss the meeting and what comes next. Keep an eye out for more information soon. Has anyone been passing this info to all the big names out there RMEF, MDF, OnX, Basemaps, clothing companies, Youtubers, Influencers, Podcasters , Outfitters, Firearm/ammo manufacturers, big box stores (Cabela's/Sportsmans) ETC? I realize a few of the mentioned have touched on the subject but ALOT haven't either because they don't know or don't care. This is bigger than us now and it will affect all hunters across the nation if it becomes reality. And thank you for the effort and time already made!
