San Juan Linger...
« on: June 08, 2009, 10:13:54 PM »
Ok, we went out and got a big linger this weekend.  The max is 40" and he is about as close to that as you can get.  He was a big buckethead and I'm not "long arming" it like it looks in the picture.  I'm a big dude and this one measured about 39".  It's next to my body.  He was yummy!

Got him fishing.  That's the max while fishing.  Next time I'll be diving and get a bigger one...   ;)

Lings are my favorite  Keep stockpiling and I may have to work out a deal with you for some Halibut steaks  :chuckle: Nice fish.

you just had to throw in the fact he was tasty too. Why didn't you catch a few dog fish and weed them out?

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
