Spy high camera mounts

Wondering if anyone has used these? Would be interesting to hear feedback if so.
I’ve always used lock boxes but the cameras get changed and then they don’t fit in the boxes and I have to get different ones.
Plus wouldn’t have bears trying to chew on them

I tried their system a couple years ago. It works fine but I much prefer just using a tree stand step to get it the same height and it’s easier to adjust and aim for me. People and animals don’t mess with them and it eliminates the cost of a bear box and cable for me.

I absolutely prefer this system over lock boxes!  Easier and quicker to set up, aiming with the laser is very simple. Been using this system for maybe 4 years, have only had 1 person look at one of the cams, and have yet to have a bear climb up to get one.  I use 3 sections of the poles, that height seems about right, as 2 sections seemed to still be in the line of sight.

Obviously, they typically don’t smell a camera way up the tree like they do at nose level though.

I absolutely prefer this system over lock boxes!  Easier and quicker to set up, aiming with the laser is very simple. Been using this system for maybe 4 years, have only had 1 person look at one of the cams, and have yet to have a bear climb up to get one.  I use 3 sections of the poles, that height seems about right, as 2 sections seemed to still be in the line of sight.

Thanks, that’s the kind of feedback I was interested in. Have you tried taking the cameras down when it is freezing? My concern is that I’m on the west side and wonder if rain on it then freezing would prevent it from being able to be taken down to view pictures.

FYI, I have had 2 cams way up in trees molested by bears. I'm a big fan of lock boxes, build my own, never lost a cam to a bear or a thief.

Most times I just jam a pinecone or stick behind it.
Even after I've used tree stand steps to put it up high.

I've also taken a tree stand step and tack welded the little bolt that screws into the bottom of the camera. You can weld it at any angle you want.
So you screw the step into tree,then screw cam on to bolt.
Maybe I'll post a pic of it tomorrow.

The only issue that I have had with freezing temperatures is with the laser pen, it needs to be above 40 degrees I believe, or it won't be bright enough to be effective, just keep it in your shirt pocket until you need it.

I see now this is a system of putting it high.
With out climbing the tree.
Which is a good option for anybody that doesn't have the ability,or just doesn't want to.
Little spendy for me,I'll probably be climbing that tree till I die.
I've also used lock boxes with success. Haven't had a bear or person break them yet.
Knock on wood jinx.

With that said I have had a bear climb a tree to investigate,no damage.
But it can happen,seen it with my own camera.
Believe it was a cub or younger bear that was still with moma.
She stayed on ground ,while baby did investigations.

An easy way to aim any camera....
Mount it basically where you want it, then put your phone (set flipped like to take a selfie) in front of it like its the camera.  works great!
