Whistling Wings HRC Training Day - Monroe, WA

Hi guys,

Hope everyone had a safe and successful season. A few of you may be hunting this last vets weekend but if you're ready to do some dog training Whistling Wings HRC is having their first training day of the year.

You can find more details on their website but the jist of it is:

This Sunday, Feb. 11th starting at 9am. Lunch is provided free and your first time  out is also free.

I would like to find out more about your training. What types of dogs do you work with? Waterfowl, upland, what breeds are you experienced with, etc.?

Whistling Wings HRC is a UKC Hunting Retriever Club. The experience is as varied as it's club members. They have a website and monthly training days that are free to attend your first time. Yearly membership is $25.

Colin, I an an upland hunter with a young English setter that I need to work with, since this is a retriever training place should I look elsewhere? Thank you.

If you're looking for purely upland hunting then this isn't exactly what this group specializes in. Lots of breeds being trained to retrieve, I've seen field cockers, vizlas, gsp's, boykin spaniels all out at our training day. If you're looking for upland pointing training there are several NAVDA groups that would suit your needs better.
