Looks like the same bull to me :dunno:

6 points, the yard bull has 5.

I think you’re number five on the yard bull is perfectly inline with the other antler if you zoom in you can see it. I say it’s the same 100% just a little different angle on the antlers.

Oh man. You're not one of those kooks who only count the top points are you? :chuckle:
In my mind, there's no question the yard bull pic is the bull the guy shot.

First of all I’m not a kook, I was referring to the crown points. Which one isn’t visible in the live pic.

Second if you don’t have something constructive to say don’t post on my threads.

One of those rolling curbside garbage cans would make a great blind I imagine.

Joking... :chuckle: :chuckle:

Looks like two different bulls to me. I'd settle for 2nd choice and forgo all the glory. :chuckle:

Pics may not be from the same year but you can even see the bends in the tips of the crown points on the right are exactly the same on both bulls.

No comment......🤔

I hate to criticize these trophy/record animals.
Cause honestly you'd never know the truth ,unless you see it with your own eyes.
Even after seeing it with your own eyes, you'll probably never hear the truth anyway.

I was bitting my tongue when it was first posted,I'm gonna continue bitting for now.
I can say nothing surprises me these days, sometimes it's on the up and up.
I also find it comical, when the truth does surface on some of these "record" animals.
Just every rumor in the book, legal to illegal, dead animals found and tagged.,it's just crazy sometimes. But better off saying nothing, benefit of the doubt.
Congrats to the hunter.

The Cartwright buck comes to mind, rumors run wild.
That's why I have no comment, cause you'll never know the truth.

The two posted side by side may share genetics but they for sure are different elk.

No way you get the same bend in the points from 2 different bulls with similar genetics. The bull in both picks has the same rear tail and the same bends at the top of his points. No way they are different. The angle of the pics are different so you have to look at what csn be matched besides number of point. All the tines are in the same formation and all the bends in the tips match up. 100% same bull

Now that we have established it’s the same bull, have we decided what side of the irrigation canal he was shot on, and was he moved to a different field for “field as he lay photos.”  :)
