Shane, congrats!  All that hard work, scouting, setting trail cams, hiking before season payed off, and you have a true WA trophy to show for it.    :brew:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Well day 2 came much too fast, beat tired from the day before we headed out. We went to a new spot that am and upon arrival it was super windy began to rain heavily. We got to our vantage point and began to glass, we picked out a cow and calf immediately, then a small bull appeared below us.Rain continued come down and low clouds began to settle in, we spotted another cow, no bull in sight with her. At this time we decided to bail on this spot and decided to head to cheney area and look for some moose, this trip turned out to show no moose. We then met up with Chris(bullblaster) kinda down on our luck we headed back up to Mica peak.We got up there kinda late, unloaded quad and headed up.The area we wanted to hunt was right on the edge of the fog line, we parked the quad and began to walk down the rd, calling and listening, nothing super quiet. We decided to head farther around to the next drainge, about half way into our walk Chris says moose, we look and there is a cow and calf just below us.Matt gets the video camera out and begins to get footage of the 2 moose that seem to have no care in the world that we are standing here, we decided to mess with them and call to them and see what they would do.I grab my moose call and grunt, this is when it got interesting in a hurry, first grunt and about 10 yards behind the cow the ferns and tall grass began to move with a mess of antlers, there was a giant bull bedded there, he stood and stared at us ! packs were flying to get into position for a shot, tripod up for the camera. Bull was at 57 yards and quartering hard at us, we waited for close to 10 min for the bull to turn, the cow began to leave he took a step forward and stopped he was now broadside, I drew my bow settled my 60 pin low and let her rip, for what seemed like an eternity for the arrow to get there I could see the arrow sink in right behind the shoulder, bull gasped and stood motionless, almost if he was going down in seconds, he then bolted 10 yards I grunted, stopping him at 62 quartering away, I reached for my arrows and nocked another, drew and smoked him again, 3 inched from the last arrow, that was it he staggered and crashed to the ground right there! we were in shock and disbeleif that this all just happened. We gathered and made our way down to the bull, complete pass thrus on the bull, one arrow was burried in a stump ! Thanks to all who supported me and sent words of encouragement, this hunt was a blast even tho it only lasted 2 days! we were prepared to hunt this out till Novemeber, never thinking we would come upon 2 big bulls in 2 days!  ;)

WOW! Awesome story!  It's awesome how you guys found two moose of that caliber in just two days time, I'm impressed!  Can't wait to see the videos and hear a green score (especially because I know nothing about scoring moose).  Great job!
