Washington Lifesize Black Bear

Sorry for all the recent posts but there are some cool critters leaving the shop lately! Finished up a lifesize eastside bruin with one hell of a coat. Client gave me free rein on the pose and base as long as it reflected the ground he was hunting. Custom built base and added an elk shed antler to give a little more character. Thank you to the returning client for the work!

I am the fortunate guy who gets to look at this mount every day in my front room.  Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. 

Sadly, if things don't change (which I hope they do), this is of one of the last spring bears taken in this state. The hunt and the following few months were quite the experience for me.  IYKYK.  Lol.
