Shot several over the years when I could draw a tag in Utah. Not any harder to knock down than a Canada goose, but much harder to pick. Meat is very dark. We always tried to get one with still some gray because thats the younger ones, eat better but pin feathers are bad. Give em a good lead when shooting.because they fly.a lot faster than you'd think. Kinda like shooting down a small airplane, heck of a splash when they hit the water
