Greenland Muskox hunting

I finally got a chance to go to Greenland for a 4 day winter Muskox hunt which there was 3 other hunters in the group and we shot 5 Muskox in 2 days I shot 2 bulls and each of the other hunters shot one it was cold but not too bad or extremely cold couple foxes, hares, ptarmigan were shot also and Atlantic cod were caught

I hunted Greenland in 2022 for muskox & caribou. Great place & very nice people for a cool adventure. I hunted in August with a very comfortable tent camp. All 8 of us killed muskox & 7 of us killed bou all in 5 days. I would recommend anyone interested in going to book it. You wont be disappointed.

Where I hunted the Inuits keep the meat for making jerky. However we ate it a couple times and I really enjoyed the flavor. It was a bit chewy, she diced it up in i/2 inch cubes with fried potatoes with some peppers and onions, it was very tasty.

I don't know if you could bring meat home from Greenland? Most offshore countries you cannot bring back meat due to USDA restrictions to prevent disease introduction.

I used the outfitters gun 30-06 I am a booking agent if you would like to book this hunt they are booked until 2026-2027 this hunt books up fast due to it being popular with European hunters I did meet quite a few people from the US that were hunting with other outfitters
