Bow Shop near Chelan to tune a Mathews
« on: May 22, 2024, 08:32:29 AM »
Got back into archery last year. I am in search for a good bow shop that deals with Mathews. I need my VXR cams timed and possibly a mod for a 29" 65lbs draw. Any suggestions other than Sportsmans Warehouse in Wenatchee?

Not sure the wait time but Hooked on Toys will do it. He set my bow up for me and did a good job

Todd West at Big River Archery is the man.

He's in East Wenatchee.

Hooked on Toys or Todd West.  Both very capable of what you are looking for.

A year or two ago, I heard that North 40 in Omak had a good bow guy as well.   :dunno:

Make sure wherever you go is willing to do top hats and place the bow in spec. The vxr is a great bow, but can be finicky with the timing. If still using stock strings odds are good the bow has lost poundage and ATA is off. Taking some slack out of the cables should pull it right back in. Then you can start off best foot forward

I have to give props to Todd West at Big River Archery. Spent the time and did not rush getting the bow tuned. Helped me out with my form a bit and now I have a finicky Mathews shooting bullet holes. Awesome customer service and highly recommend!
