GMU 621 archery bull tag info
« on: June 14, 2024, 01:01:24 PM »
A buddy and I drew the Olympic unit bull tag and are looking for info. We are familiar with the area but have never hunted it. Basically looking for any good info that people may be willing to share. Thanks!

You might want to try the search function and see what comes up.

Best wishes, that’s a tough hunt. I’d mentally decide of whether you want to harvest a bull in someone’s private field or up in the hills. Getting permission on the private lands can be tough, you’ll also be competing against Skokomish tribal members. There are several collared elk, some by WDFW, some by tribal biologists. Density isn’t crazy high, set your expectations levels appropriately. I wouldn’t say it’s a great unit for trophy quality, but you’ll have the chance to harvest a bull with minimal amounts of pressure.

Same here. I ran into a warden who told me to hunt up there. Was in elk plenty and ended up with a decent bull.
