Springfield Armory Free Rimfire Rifle
« on: November 18, 2024, 06:36:38 PM »
I just came into knowing about this rebate. If you buy any new Waypoint, Redline, or Boundary, you can get a free Rimfire Target rifle.

A precursory look at one of my distributors, they have 43 different UPCs (rifles) that qualify for this rebate.

I was really looking into buying a waypoint 2020 in 6 creed and the trainer rifle was just a bonus. Till I found out about all the firing pin issues they’ve had…

That's interesting because the waypoints I've sold have had no issues. Was it only that caliber?

I don’t believe it was strictly that caliber. On multiple forums I found guys having firing pin issues and it was enough for me to shy away.

Interesting. I know a good handful of people that have the Waypoint rifles (not the rimfire) and they have nothing but good to say about them. I wonder how widespread that problem is or if it was just a specific timeframe the firing pins were an issue? Sweet rifles, at least if you get one with no problems.

Yeah I’m not sure? I didn’t check all the dates on the forums to see if it was all happening around the same time? I’ve read from others that they’re great rifles so hard saying.

Or maybe it wasn't as wide spread as some people would try to make it seem.

If anyone would like to order a qualifying rifle before the end of the year, let me know.
