Blacktails are pretty deer
« on: November 29, 2024, 02:39:51 PM »
A couple of days ago I was a little late on getting the apple slices put out so this pretty little girl was waiting for me. It's a lousy cell phone pic but I really like her color and markings.

They really are beautiful. Had this one walk up and chill with me during modern firearm season

I think the prettiest of the three deer.  Mule deer and whitetail (in that order) are next.

I have a doe group out back and they are pretty. The grand baby loves to look at them.

Some pretty ones on this video, but I think these should be considered a sub-species like the Kodiak ones are classified differently, in the southern Oregon/Northern California areas.
