My 16 year old drew a Bethel 360 Unit Archery Tag and would like some information on the area.

I drew the tag 4 yrs back and made the mistake of taking the time off work in early part of the season ... the late season erupted but there are alot of hunters in there so the bulls are call shy dont overcall.  There is a ridge that runs right down the middle of the unit east to west try to fing the shelf just to the north of the ridge and hunt down on them I tried hunting up on them and wasted two days.  I can get you a little closer but half of the fun is finding them on your own.  alot of grouse in the area good for a mid day break.

Muzzle loaded the area last year, they logged the crap out of the north side of the Little Rattlesnake, I would avoid the area as it is now really !! open :bash:[/color]

I've have drawn 2 tag for that unit for archery and have hunted that unit with a gun to. My family has hunted that unit for 30 plus years with a gun. Lots of big bull in that unit. hunt low
