Do you guys use the points you have coming into the draw to determine where to apply, or do you get an additional point when applying?

You go in with your current number of points. You dont get a point at all for applying, you have to buy them later in the year.

I know someone w 19, not sure 16 will even sniff a draw unit.

Going combo! Yes it seems odd, but it’s a premium antelope hunt with a cow tag elk hunt attached. The unit is about 9-10 points for antelope but cow elk is only 1-2 points. So we are going combo and it should be a blast.

I have contacted a few. Some outfitters say booked up but are not due to the fact they can't guarantee a draw. HF tells me you draw we will have an outfitter for you.

Plenty of units 16 pts will get you in with an outfitter in the wilderness.

I have 5 points and just want a darn Western Elk General so I can hunt with my dad that lives there. Anyone have a bunch of points that is just going for a Western General that wants to go in partners so I can draw before he's disabled or dead and gone? At this rate it will take that long...
