Nice pic, congrats!  My grandpa used to pay the bills in the 70’s and 80’s trapping.  Crazy good money in the 70’s.

Great job! It's awesome that some are keeping the traditions alive. Not being a trapper, as I look at the picture, there's obviously some pelts in sheath's or sleeve's to protect the hides, I assume? What are the different species in those sleeves? Are the pelts next to your legs in the picture, Mink, Marten or ?

Turned inside out.  Part of the prep and drying process.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

Appreciate it everyone! Yep some pelts are put up leather side out. That’s what you’re seeing with the mink, otter, skunks, coons and muskrats.
