Free: Contests & Raffles.
Hard pass for me.
I think a tabletop review would be interesting, 4" of can that wraps the barrel is odd. Maybe they are using it for the blast chamber by diverting gas backwards along the barrel? I'd want to know how many baffles, is it a flow through design or tradition cones with clips, also looks to have a small distal end. Get that reviewed by Pew Science and Joey Longo and see where it stacks up.Also, not much of an original name, 50% of the Form1 22 cans are probably named Whisper Pickle, I know I've got one.

Haven't seen many "opposing" viewpoints (maybe the wrong phrasing there), so I'm interested in any drawbacks that I might not be considering. The only two I think I've seen are guys running thick profile carbon barrels and the potential for issues with removing a stuck can (which they've said they'll create a tool for). I'm putting a 6 creed together next and like the idea of keeping a few extra inches of barrel length without sacrificing overall rifle length. The OTB design is popular in Europe, NZ, etc. The only American version I'm aware of is the AB Raptor w/ reflex. Difference here is it's not a separate module, the OTB portion is printed with the forward-of-the-barrel portion of the can. Correct, the OTB portion allows for more space for gas expansion. Not sure on the baffles. If it's sub-135db I'm not sure I care that much. Looked again and they're already close to 130db. Definitely not flow through, it's a bolt gun hunting focused can. They're testing with their own purchased audio equipment for now but will likely have it tested by Pew and/or entered in the TBAC Suppressor Summit testing. They've got some gripe with Pew with the pay-to-play nature and proprietary ranking system.

Good points, I'm definitely concerned with rollout given the Rokstok debacle. I'm hoping to pick up a couple railed tikka stocks in the next drop...And optimistic that going with the sister company fabrication setup vs a 3rd party fabricator with Stocky's and no pre-order will help. Not familiar with the hinged ring product failure.I'm confident enough in their CS for this particular product to be a guinea pig. And with Form's involvement in the design I'm also confident that it will perform as promised. I'll have an AB A-10 7.72, Nomad Ti, and maybe some others through buddies to compare it against. If all goes according to plan and I get one by July I'd be happy to organize a range day or two if people want to check it out. They had a few at the La Grande NRL event, might be attending more of those with them.

Cheaper to just add a rail and I figured since they said they had 60 ready to go I could get one quick. I'm thinking those 60 must have been a myth because I've yet to see anyone claim they've received one from that order. I'm fully expecting to be way underwhelmed by it but I needed a stock, and haven't shot a rokstock yet so needed to feed my own curiosity. Should have just ordered a McMillan mountain tracker LR as I think it's gonna be a better stock overall. The rem 700 one sure is awesome.
Only if they show up at my distributors. There's other manufacturers with over the barrel designs that have been on the market for more than a hot minute. The last time a bunch of people hopped on the newest Ti can at that price point, I was asked about it and it appeared to some people that I'm not of fan of light weight suppressors. I am definitely a fan of Ti silencers but, I would never rush into a new suppressor that doesn't have extensive field experience with consumers. Let some people put a few ten round groups of hot 300WM through it and see if the welds hold. Knowing those guys it'll be right on the edge of ridiculous. Not sure weld failure will be a concern on a 3D printed can but I'm not a machinist by any means.
I'll be interested, once it is on the market for a while.Savage also just released an over the barrel suppressor, which I will be watching too. What I really want is a suppressor that's a bit more modular. Modular end caps for different calibers, extra sections to increase volume/baffles including reflex sections. Probably won't be the lightest, even is the smallest configuration, but it quite versatile.

UM has one of the more risk averse business models out there....make everyone pay/wait and no chance of taking a loss. Also its very weird to me that they aren't just going to use silencershop to distribute them. I would love to order one to blackhammer it would be too easy done it several times now. I think I will wait and see when they have the carbon barrel version with the brake on the end.The scope rings are awesome and they have good customer service. Let us know when you get your OG cans as I am very curious about them.
Take a listen to their podcast they talked about the more suppressors they sell on this run they can invest in more machines to make more suppressors faster. I think thats likely the reason they can't use the silencershop platform as it was intended. The products they are making are different/awesome enough that people are willing to do it, so more power to them. To be clear I am not rooting against them and hope the can is successful enough that I can buy one on silencershop one day The rokstok drop they just did was a very similar 90 day lead time deal. They would have to front the money to stocky's otherwise. Maybe someday it will be that you can just order one and it shows up in two days like all the other stuff I have bought from them

I thought they sunk a good chunk of change into a ring design that failed and was never brought to market. Premier rings came after that.
