49 degrees north late Moose tag
« on: June 13, 2025, 09:00:49 AM »
My Brother drew the late 49 degrees north late moose tag. He has limited time off because of work so is considering hiring a guide. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few of us that have the early tag on here. I would be willing to try and help with some areas we saw moose when my hunt is over.

Buzzsaw,  I have the early tag for that Unit.  When my hunt is over, I will send you some locations and trail cam pictures of what I get

Late tags can be great tags, less leaves on the trees, bull bunch up again so easier to field judge, just don't wait too long the big ones can drop their antlers the last week of November............

I shot my bull the 28th of October and there were probably 4 bulls with about 10 cows and plenty of rutting sign so the first few days of the hunt you might get that action too.
