45 Winchester Magnum

Anyone messed with the 45 magnum?
I had the opportunity to shoot and/or buy a 45 Win Mag Wildey back in the 90's and did not end up buying it, though it was fun to shoot.
I don't really regret 'not' buying it other than how much they go for now, though they were expensive even back then.

I haven't messed with the 45 win mag. I have a Wildey in the 475 mag. I always wanted to get the 45 mag barrel to go with it to save money on shooting but never did.

I had a 45 Win Mag contender barrel for a while, and played with a friend’s Wildey quite a bit. The Wildey was a fun gun, but pretty picky about feeding. The 45 Win Mag round was great. It’s just like a hot loaded 45 colt, but cooler and different.
