A bit of an addition for the 10:30 to 12:00 timeslot. Steve Brownell is going to show off his new float set for muskrat using KORO rodent traps. Steves been working on this for a while and he has it perfected. Steve just called me and said he would speak. If you think you might be trapping muskrats this is a must see. Included in the new trap designs round table talk. I'm introducing my new two trigger traps for beaver, otter, bobcat. Jesse Foss is going to talk about his short swimthoughs, as short as 24 inches. Yep, only two feet long that he is catching beaver and otter in.
IMO this demo is a must see with some really innovative designs.

Our Kids program coordinator asked me to post this,

Addition to Kids activities at Rendezvous
After noticing that Eric Degman &  Ernie Nelson were doing a skinning demonstration with bobcats , i thought that the younger generation needed to have their own skinning demonstration.
I was  able to obtain some carcasses( including very some exotic species) that we can practice on.  I am thinking age10 and younger . I have 10 carcasses to go around. If there aren't enough younger kids, we will allow a couple older ones to join us. I will lead the demonstration and provide any needed assistance.  You are welcome to keep your critter.  This will be more interesting than skinning an old bobcat.
