Pasco bow range
« on: September 02, 2025, 05:51:45 PM »
I’m in Pasco for a couple of days.  Staying in a hotel on Broodmoor.  Any decent places to just go shoot a bit?   Don’t mind a little drive if needed.  Just want to keep my reps up while I’m out of town.  Have my target and really just need somewhere I can shoot 20 yards - even if it’s just a dirt road somewhere.

I have relatives in town but honestly don’t have time to shoot and then try to escape….

Colyak in Richland is your only option.  10-60 yard targets, 3D section, you have to be a member I believe.   From Pasco, go over Richland bridge, get on 240/Bypass to Van Giesen.  Turn left onto Van Giesen, Go a few hundred yards and turn left on Hall rd.  Go to end, turn right into large parking area and go to far end.  You'll see the benches and targets.

I hate to give inaccurate information so i may be wrong...

I've always thought, per the agreement that the club has with the city of Richland, the 3d range is only open to non members on Sunday but the target range with structures you see at the end of the parking lot is open to non members all the time? Again i could be wrong. You could always call the club up and ask.

I really want to direct you to public land along the Pasco/Kahlotus Highway , specifically at the end of Martindale road where you could throw your target up wherever, but because it is hunting season I would hate to see you get in trouble because of some technical snafu. Game wardens like to patrol the GMU's along the Snake River regularly. Use your own judgement there.

Yes, the structures and targets at the end of the parking area is open to anyone at anytime.   The 3d range is member only, not sure about Sunday shooting.   I apologize if i wasn’t clear on that in my first response.

OP, go shoot the targets at the end of the gravel for as long as you’d like at any time of day.

Perfect.  Thank you!

I sent them an email last night but hadn’t heard back from them.  Don’t mind paying a daily rate but didn’t see that option on their site

Thanks guys

I've lived in the Tri Cities for 6.5 years now and never knew this place existed. Definitely going to have to dust off my bow and get out shooting soon.

Went a few times last week, nice little range.   Targets are getting a little worn so you have to shoot the corners but it is a nice little setup.  If I lived around here it looks like the membership costs are really decent.

New question: any recommendations for an archery shop around the Tri cities?   I’m still down a guy so I have to be down here for another week.  Was hoping to get a backup bow I bought recently in for a checkup.   Thanks

I went in there today (Ranch and Home).  Great guy -he put the rest I brought in on and tuned it.  Replaced the D-loop as well.  Only charged me $15 plus the cost of the string slide ($3.99) he replaced that was broken on the backup bow.  Took it to the range and it was right on.
