I dropped off teeth and lymph nodes from my son's buck at the location in Walla Walla yesterday.  Looked like they had a lot of samples (had to be 30 or 40 heads).  The young lady running the station was polite, helpful and even thankful (almost apologetic?) that I was dropping off a sample.  Quick in and out (less than 5 minutes).  My sister in Colville said she had the same experience.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I've always had a great experience when there is staff on hand.👍

My brother-in-law killed his moose in the 49 Degrees unit on day 2, Oct 2nd. When we had the moose quartered and in the truck we called WDFW region 1. They told us that there were staff at the office in Colville, so we drove there. There were 2 young fellas there that put on their blue gloves and went to work on the moose head. I will say that it took the young man longer than he thought to find the lymph glands on that small bull. He said they were small compared to a more mature moose. Anyway, I had never seen them taken out before and would have had a difficult time finding them if I had not watched someone that supposedly knows what they are doing get them out. Also said it could be as long as 8 weeks to get results. We have been eating some of it, and I'm not worried that it will come back positive for CWD.

Don't be surprised.

This is just another WDFW failure.
There will be more to come.

Montana has good printed directions and a YouTube.  I was not sure how easy it would be but after following their directions I got both of them without any major challenge.  I had gloves on hand and a bag along with the directions to be prepared which turned out good because they were out of bags and forms as well.
