Last weekend was a great weekend for taking bucks. The wind and the rain were perfect for keeping the deer moving. I saw more nice bucks taken this year than a dozen years past. Good for you if you went out and got wet. That's what Western Washington hunting is.
Now that you're home, dry and the deer is all processed, don't forget to give that firearm of yours a very very good cleaning. Cleaned, inspected, and well oiled for next year, and you'll get generations out of it, not seasons. Firearms are getting harder and more expensive to get every year, so make the most of keeping yours in great condition.
