I’ve been chasing the elk south of turnbull all week with no luck. New to hunting and new to Cheney, just moved here in the spring. I’ve tried a couple of the different public spots but hunting post rut has proven challenging. Closing day tomorrow hoping I can get one in before the show is over for the year. Please ye wise elk hunters drop some knowledge on a newbie.

Heard some guys had success in the area so far. Happy for them, and happy to hear elk actually do exist!
