Willipa Hills Antlerless tag
« on: November 16, 2025, 12:42:27 PM »
Anybody have any luck with cows in this unit? I’ve hunted out of Tunerville with no luck for the past few years. Any info would be appreciated

Which tag are you referring to? There are areas within the area that are anterless or 3pt minimum over the counter.

Following...  I have a Hoof Disease cow permit for very late season for Willipa. If anyone is seeing a herd with limpers, would love any intel to help remove one from the ecosystem.  I do have a Weyco key.

Do you know where Weyco land is in the unit that you just need the free hunting pass?

If you have a weyco or rayonier permit it should be a slam dunk. If not there is plenty of public access with elk in it, just have to work a little more for em.

I don't know of any free hunting passes.  I had to drop $350 for the access key.  looks like even foot access sold out too.

Lots of elk seen in three days. Filled my cow tag yesterday and can point someone with a cow tag to an area that has 40 or so roaming around.  Times are tough for folks and a freezer full can sometimes bring a bit of relief.  Shoot me a message.

Great offer,
If you could chase them one unit over I would be all ears.  :chuckle:

Is your tag for 506 only?

no. I have the Willapa Hills permit. It's only for 658, 660, 663, 672, 673 and 681.  506 hoof disease is covered under the MH region 5 NW hoof disease permit.
