High n Dry gear
« on: November 22, 2025, 12:27:50 PM »
Lost my really good waterfowling jacket and waders out of my boat today. Ugh. Seen this brand on Youtube and wanted some opinions for the gear. Thanks

I have a pair of their waders. They are absolutely amazing. I would go up a size maybe, the crotch area doesn't flex or give much. Outside of that they fit like a dream.

I think, unfortunately, anyway thing that is waterproof/sticker proof will be heavy. I had some brush busting pants with canvas sewn on the front that worked great but were heavy.
We ended up using knee high Gaiters but they only protect the lower part. I did use my chest waders a couple times but that extra weight made for a long day and I was tired!
No magic answer, unfortunately.
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

Just received my new full neoprene jacket. Looks good and fits well. A bit more simple than my original Stormr. That thing was pure armor. I'll wait on trying the waders.
