WTH, bought my 2026 license a couple days ago, just logged on and see no option to apply for the non rez deer tag???
On the home page, apply for controlled hunt, upper left corner

Pretty sure I clicked that option, but I’ll try again.  So I will have a small group, do we apply separately or do
I need all their info first?

Click "Submit Application" then enter the hunt codes, up to 5. Then it will take you to the group application part. You will need the other group members license number or sportsmans ID

Thank you, but it only shows me 2 option boxes, and, I’ve looked all over for the hunt number for 10a whitetail and find nothing.

Just start entering hunt codes and 5 boxes will pop up

https://idfg.idaho.gov/licenses/tag/quotas/nonresident

go to the APPLICATION BROCHURE and it has all the hunt codes for general deer tags and white tail tags

Took me a couple failed attempts to realize needed to purchase the license first, rather than just having it in the card before it would let me finalize the nonres general deer selections.....

Doubtful I draw the units I applied for, but will be trying for controlled hunt anyway and have turkey/pheasant/etc plans for 2026 in Idaho.

Pretty simple process if you have the 2026 tag brochure open also to refer back to for hunt numbers.  Should have been a different tab for the general tags, but their programmers didn't quite figure that out.  Do need to PURCHASE your 2026 license first and then have all your partners sportsmans id numbers.
