Had a bobcat give me the finger on a set today 😂 Took a poop and created a mini scrape right in the middle of the skid trail 6’ in front of one of my coyote dirt hole sets. Picked the poop up and made a mock toilet set with it off of the existing set. Added a cubby and a 220 box along the skid trail too.

The 220 boxes I’m running are Belisles but the 330s are the new Duke Magnums and they are awesome! I’ll post a few pics tomorrow. You can see them in the back of my truck.

It’s crazy trapping in 40 degree weather in North Idaho. Put 8 more sets out today. I was also going to say another reason that I leave some of my trap pans exposed we’ve had a ton of rain, but then we’ve had freezing temps at night. The dirt on the pans can freeze solid and cause the trap to not go off.

Had two beaver sets out, went to pull them today and got lucky and pulled another one from the colony. Perfect front foot catch with a #3?Bridger OS on a drowneder. Done with that pond for the season.

Had someone help themselves to a Duke 650 Pro with a nice wolf drag and 10’ of chain. Plus the coyote that was in it. Never will understand stealing people’s stuff…

Honestly it’s never about money, it’s about being in the woods with my girls and or wife. They like it prob more than I do 😂 Looking at it that way I’m having a pretty good season.
