That's messed up... Hope your season turns this incident around...

Honestly it’s never about money, it’s about being in the woods with my girls and or wife. They like it prob more than I do 😂 Looking at it that way I’m having a pretty good season.

That's good... I find trapping fascinating... I'd like to get into it eventually... My kids are adults now doing their thing so I don't get to spend a lot of time with them...
I love you... I really do...

Making it so I can attach my boxes quicker to the side of a tree 3-4’ up. T25s for the win 🤙🏼

Added a hinge on the bottom to quickly be able to attach a pole leading up to it. You can see the trap attachment on the back side of the box too.

I’ve been covering a ton of country and the wolves are far and few between right now in my area. Nock on wood saying that…

Put a few more sets out yesterday when I was breaking my other sets out of the frozen ground 😜 Started cooking another batch of peat moss in the oven this morning so I’d have more bedding material.

Put a quick beaver set in last night in the dark and checked it this morning.

Checked water sets again tonight and ended up catching the biggest beaver of my life! Weighed my wife than had her hold it and we came up with 82 lbs. My wife wasn’t pleased 🤣

Well at least it wasn't 52#! That's a hell of a beaver, I've only caught one that size and its tail was really misfigured, I always wondered if it was a prop or predator.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

That's a dandy beaver. Don't be surprised if you get a hanging scale for Xmas.
