Where do you keep them
« on: January 27, 2026, 05:16:03 PM »
Ok, planning for fall muzzy hunting.  Where do you keep your speed loaders, etc when you are out hunting.  I was looking at something like this but leather might not be a good idea.  I usually carry 5-6 speed loaders, primers, small screw driver etc.  So I need small but not too small.

A fanny pack, not sure when I haven't thought of that..  I was trying to find something small that goes over one shoulder and rides below the chest and at or above the waist. Lets see what other ideas are out there.

If I have my day pack on I have my reloads in a gallon bag. If I am jumping out of the truck fast ,I have a neoprene bag like you have pictured.

I watch new / used stores for possible bags.

Alaskan guide bino pouch storage pockets or the little hip pocket on my pack depending on how I'm hunting that day.

I carry a couple in my most accessible pocket, along with several spare primers.

Then I always have a few more in my pack.

I figure if I need more than 3 shots I'll just have to dig into my pack.

Bino harness with a couple pockets holds two quick loads, carry extra powder, bullets, and primers in other pocket. Very easy and quick to get to never had a problem. Put the extra powder in a baby food jar with a measurer. Extra bullets in an old Altoids container and keep the primers in their factory case.
