June Bow Report
« on: July 02, 2009, 09:58:18 AM »
For June the bow we will report on is the New Rytera Alien X
Specs.
- 3.5 lbs.
- 31.5” axle to axle
- 7” brace height
- Draw weights 50#, 60#, 70#
- Draw modules from 27” to 30”
- Shooting String 54 5/8
- Cables (2) 36 1/8
Available with the Hybrix Hybrid Duo Cam System
or the Tranz Cam Single Cam System.
Limbs Newly Designed 5 layer multi-laminated limb
IBO speeds
330-340
The bow is very light in the hand and is a really nice looking bow .
The bow we are shooting is with the Hybrix cam. Draw is a little hard at the end of the draw with a VERY hard wall. On the shot the bow has zero hand shock but does have some noise to it. The Strings and Cables that come with the bow are Neon Green and Grey and they do look cool on this bow.
We set the bow up with a HHA sight, Whisker Biscuit rest, Fuse stabilizer. Peep and D-loop for the testing. The bow comes with a roller guard and a STS on it.
The bow is set to 70lbs shooting a carbon express arrow at 350 grains IBO

70lbs 28.5" draw shot 316.4fps
70lbs 29" draw shot 320.7fps
70lbs 30" draw shot 329.1fps

This is a great looking bow that is light weight and has some good speeds
With no hand shock for the price this bow is right at the top for bows $700 and under.

Did you hear all that Bullblaster?  Now you'll never know if you sold a great bow or not.  That Alien probably shoots much better than the Bow Madness you got with the money.  Just kidding!

That's a pretty good write-up there xXx!  Thanks for putting actual information out there instead of all the advertising horsecrap that we all know means so little as to how the machine will actually perform.  Keep them coming when you can, because most of us will never have the opportunity to see, let alone shoot, all of the ones that you can fill us in about.  Thanks for your time!

I agree. I believe if you can provide the short or even long reviews on new bows it will be a neat addition. Nice looking machinery.
