For some reason I'm thinking this should only effect the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area if they go through with it... But wouldn't be surprised if they put it on other wilderness areas that are popular hikes for the elite back packing snobs... Let's hope they don't screw us a little more...

this is horse*censored*.they're inventing the notion of conflict between non hunters and hunters in order to further the agenda of restricting/banning hunting. even if there were conflict, the wording suggests that non hunter recreation should be prioritized above hunting, especially through Labor Day. all recreational groups should have access to public lands - to restrict access to one group at one time in order to elevate the access of another group is by definition discrimination.I'll write some emails - this horse*censored* comes straight from Lorna Smith.
